STRASBOURG, FRANCE, BASEL, SWITZERLAND, and BOSTON, USA – May 1st, 2024. QPerfect, a pioneer of advanced solutions to accelerate practical quantum computing, and QuEra Computing, global leader in neutral-atom quantum computing, today announced a collaboration aimed at the development and evaluation of tensor network methods for accurate modeling of quantum error correction.
The QPerfect-QuEra collaboration is set to model and capture effects that are out of reach using standard simulation techniques. The partnership will leverage QPerfect’s MIMIQ, a powerful virtual quantum computer and quantum simulation framework, to conduct high-fidelity, large-scale simulations of logical quantum algorithms.
“We are excited to collaborate with QPerfect to accelerate our work on quantum error correction. The advanced tensor network simulation techniques developed by QPerfect complement our existing specialized tooling for Clifford circuits, allowing us to simulate challenging scenarios involving more general noise models and non-Clifford operations,” said Yuval Boger, Chief Commercial Officer at QuEra Computing.
Guido Masella, CTO of QPerfect, said “Our collaboration with QAI and QuEra aligns perfectly with our mission and core business. We are excited to work on leading edge solutions that address the key challenge for quantum computing: quantum error correction and fault-tolerant-quantum computing.”
